Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Doing my own divorce and have a custody question

My husband and I want to keep the arrangement we have in place already where our son spends a week with me and a week with his father. But all the sample agreements I have seen say the child has to spend the school year with one parent and the summer with the other. Do we have to come up with an arrangement like that or can we keep our own?
