Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

hi, my divorce did in dallas county(denton). in 2009. but now last three years i. e in 2009 i moved to houston,as my sister and brother are here so i get help for my two kids too..now my exhusband harrased me, i need to trasfer my case from denton county dallas to houston harris county. what should i do? please suggest me.thank you.

You don't transfer your case unless there is a case pending, that is, you transfer it in connection with a motion to modify (or some other motion).

Simultaneously with the filing of the motion for modification, you file a (sworn) motion to transfer venue.
