my daughter is getting divorced, she wants her maiden name to be her legal name again, but she never changed any of her ids to her married name... so does she have to request this, or just continue to use her maiden name legally?.. she was married less than 3 months, thanks for any input, she really does not want to have to go to court for that..

If she never took her married name then she does not need to do a name change.

If she did take his name, then she can ask the judge to change it back to her maiden name and it will be free.
