Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My divorce decree only states that my daughter will receive child support standard through age of 18 unless etc applies, I get that, but how common or likely is it to get support extending in the state of Texas if my daughter continues her education and attends college full time? Is this something worth my checking into or is it a futile request? She is a senior now.

Your decree probably has the maximum allowed. Child support can only go past 18 or high school by agreement of the parties. I have drafted decrees that included provisions for college, but they were agreed provisions. You could add more later, but, again, it would have to be agreed. The court has no authority to impose involuntary child support after 18 or high school.
