Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
In my divorce decree, done in texas, it states that our home is to be sold in a reasonable amount of time. I've now been told by spouse who still lives in home that they'll be in no hurry to sell home. What is considered "reasonable amount of time" in Texas that would allow me to pursue legal action.

There is no specific definition of "a reasonable amount of time." You should shoot the lawyer who drafted the decree this way.
You will need to go back to court and ask the Judge to clarify this provision in your decree, which he has the authority to do - it's section 9.008 of the Texas Family code.
I agree with Mr. Dunn 100%. Clients should never finalize a divorce with outstanding marital assets. The clarification may need to include a modification that sets out the consequences of not achieving a final sale within the parameters the court sets forth.
