Divorce

I divorced my husband in 2000. In

2003 we reunited and have lived as

husband and wife until 2006. Filed

joint tax returns, joint bank

accounts, proclaimed ourselves

married. Now, my husband is living

with another woman, who is now

pregnant. I do not want a divorce,

but am at a loss as to what to do.

What are my legal alternatives?

You can make a claim for any community property acquired during your period of common law marriage, but you need to do it soon. You can seek Temporary Orders for the preservation of community property. You should see a lawyer.
