I have a freind who was married in texas to a person serving in the military. He doesnt want to give her a divorce because as a married person he is getting a higher pay. She now lives in Florida, and needs too get divorced to get on with her life. How does she do this if he is not willing to do so?

Actually, it doesn't matter that she married in Texas. Since she now resides in Florida, she needs to contact a Florida attorney to get her divorce.

Once she contacts a Florida attorney, she'll learn that a person doesn't have to "give" another person a divorce. When one person wants a divorce, they get it. One married person can't stop the other from divorcing them.
