Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

divorce

my friend is going to move in with me and get her life together we need to know what the first steps are in getting a divorce, and there are 2 kids envolved because he has threatened to take the kids away from her and she needs to make sure she is doing things right so she can keep her kids, what should she do? and i live in another county, will it be considered a run away with the kids?

For god's sake (or the kids), get a lawyer. Maybe you'll have to pay a consultation fee, but wouldn't it be worth it to have good advice about all these questions that you (or she) wants answered. Wouldn't protecting the kids be worth it? Good Luck.
