Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

If divorce was held in Kansas courts in 2003 with my ex wife having residential custody.. But after the mother was unable to care for the child, the child moved with me to Texas in 2007.. Now the mother wants to fight for residential custody.. Where would we have to go to court?? Would it be in Kansas or Texas since the child is now a resident of Texas??

The fight will be in Texas. But if she files something, you need a lawyer. The applicable law is found in Chapter 152 of the Texas Family Code.
