Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am going through a divorce and my husband agreed to give me 75% of our joint tax return but I just found out the return that I signed has a bogus amount on it than the actual refund. I also signed a couple of refund checks over to him at the time. I hired an attorney and gave her $500. but I could not get a response back from her for over a week and I felt that she did not have my best interest at hand so I decided to not continue using her services since my husband and I were coming to a fair agreement until I found out today he has been lying all along. He has a attorney but I do not as I thought we could handle this amicably. We have one daughter together and share custody. What should I do

It sounds like you need a good lawyer.

Has any discovery been done?

Use an attorney even if you believe that you and your husband are "coming to a fair agreement."
