Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I want divorce, husband doesn't , and children involved

I have told my husband that I want a divorce but he doesn't want one. Worse, he still lives in the home and hasn't worked for more than a few months here and there in 3 years now. This also means that I don't have the monetary resources to pay 1500.00 for a contested divorce with a ''move-out'' order and possible restraining order to keep him away. I also cannot afford to move myself and the kids due to being the sole support for 4 people. He threatens to take our son whenever things get unbearable and disappear before I would even be able to start any kind of divorce action. In court I know I would get custody due to multiple reasons that make him unfit, but I am afraid that he won't stick around long enough for a divorce. Any ideas would be helpful at this point.

You should go in to discuss the matter with a lawyer. Some lawyers may allow you to pay out the divorce over a period of time.
