Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Divorce

My husband has filed for divorce in Texas. At the time that he filed. My kids and I were in Indiana. My questions are did he have to request the restraining order to get the kids back in Texas, and can he really just bring them back to Texas when they were already in school in Indiana and settled with me. I feel that I have been forced to come to Texas just so I can get the chance to get my boys back when the divorce is final. Also how long does it take to get the paperwork once you have filed for divorce? Can he legally do this is my basic question? Thank you for your time. Sincerely Monica

Re: Divorce

'Fraid so. This is what happens when you move with the kids and fail to file for divorce right away. You are behind the 8-ball right now. You better get a good, hard-working lawyer ASAP. Good Luck
