Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Divorce
My husband left me 28 years ago and I know not where. I have not seen him since. I have a copy of my marriage license, his SS# and driver license. So is there any way I can get my divorce with the information that I have.

Re: Divorce
You need to do a publication notice divorce. There are more requirements than in a case where the Respondent can be served with personal notice, but I have handled cases such as these and I can help you to get a divorce. I am here in Houston and am a board certified specialist in the field of family law. Contact me if you are interested in discussing these matters further.
Re: Divorce
Based on what you have written, your husband is somewhere and therefore you have to notify him of the pending divorce. There are specific Rules of Procedure to follow regarding notifying him of the divorce proceeding. You really need to seek the assistance of a family law firm when handling a case like yours. If my family law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact my legal assistant Jennifer ([email protected]) to arrange for an initial consultation.

He's out there somewhere. You have to notify him of the petition for divorce. Have you looked extensively on the internet? Almost all of us are on the internet somewhere. You should be able to find him with the SSN and DL. Good Luck.
