Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband and I have been married for 3 years and found out about 6 months ago that he was never legally divorced from his 1st wife. They filed the paper work but it was never completed. They have since filed the paper work, gone to court and are now legally divorced. My question is, how about our marriage....are we still married even though our marriage date is after his divorce date.

Possibly voidable. In an abundance of caution, you can go to the county clerk and file a declaration of marriage, that will validate your marriage.
