Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my husband told me he was going to court to stop a restraining order. the lawyer called to find out why he wasnt there yet he asked if i was going to be there and i said no, He acked a little odd but hung up .we had been seperated but had gotton back together.I had left because of abuse.We have two kids,and years later seperated again and told me we were divorced I didnt believe him So I called the court house and was told he filed i did not attend and he got everything we worked so hard for including my kids. however if we were together as man and wife for so long and i always had the kids He worked out of town .Then we wrer both in default of the divorce .Is this true and what does this mean?I beleive I earned half of everything because having two toddlers living in a camper with no doors no air no car 30 miles out in the country diggging my own sewer fixing stuff my self taking care of kids,yard pigs,animals for 20 yrs and the abuse I should have at least have been served with papers or something He said he got me on desertion but i was told there is no such thing in texas I cant understand and now he wants my kids that he was never there for any way PLEASE PLEASE HELP hehas supported me for 20 yrs he made me quit paralegal

Sounds like you are in a real mess. If you don't get a lawyer soon, looks like he is going to get everything.
