how to divorce someone in jail

I meet my husband while he was incarcated and later we married sept 1st of 2007 and we havent spoke since feb 18th 2008 we have both written letters about getting the divorce but we are not for sure the best way that is not expensive for me to pay for

If there are no kids and no community property, I offer a DO IT YOURSELF kit (with a document for him to sign that is unusual since he's in prison without a notary available). Price $195 cash. Then you pay your county filing fee.

Beware of the on-line kits since they won't have a right Waiver of Service for a TX inmate without access to a notary.
