what steps are needed to be taken to get a divorce.i have paid the 243.00 fileing fee and submitted a waiver of citation to the 306th court what is expected of me now.

Wait for the statutory 60 days and set up a final hearing. At the hearing, make sure that you prove up the divorce.

Your question does not indicate whether this is a contested matter or whether your spouse will agreeably sign the necessary papers. You also did not indicate whether there were any children resulting from the marriage. Basically, a divorce decree (and other potential necessary documents) need to be drafted and properly presented to the Court after the statutory 60 day waiting period expires.
