Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I want a divorce because he left and living with another woman. I am not looking to remarry and am not even considering dating. I can't afford an attorney and I want no threat to my childern for their inheritance or to cause me any more grief. He's ruining my credit I'm always worried if he'll show up and try to take things form my house or property (Yes, I changed all locks. I just don't know what else I can do to protect myself and property. How do I legally disconnet from this horrible person?

File a divorce petition as soon as you can. Even if you do it without a lawyer, the filing fee will be about $275.00.
I would strongly suggest that you figure out a way to get some money for a divorce lawyer. Look on the internet; make some phone calls and find out about prices.
