Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I am trying to get a divorce. My legal husband and I have not lived together for about 5 years. I am moving on with my life and do not wish to keep our contract. He has done the same and wish to desolve the marriage. Our childeren are in temporary custody as it pertains to me. On the other hand the father has written off our daughter, in court. I still want to reserve my rights to see my childeren, even though I have not been allowed when opportunity came to be able to visit. They are now teenagers and finishing up high school so I don't wish to take them away from there familiar environments. But I have some funds that are set up for them but they have found a way to keep me from getting my daughter's birth certificate. This is to get her social security, in order to have the account set up in their own names. Instead they are benificiaries on the accounts. We don't own anything of value and I wish to be able to go on and buy a home and not have any ties with this individual. What will it take to cancel the contract?

I'm sorry I have no idea what you are talking about.
It sounds like you do not have legal custody of your children. If that's right, that information would be included in your divorce since the children are still under 18.
If you want a consultation to discuss your rights, I charge $2 per minute. I would need to see a certified copy of the current court order.
If you are in agreement on everything, I can do a DO IT YOURSELF DIVORCE KIT and you pay the HARRIS COUNTY FILING FEE.
