Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Divorce; don't know how to locate spouse.

I was married in Nevada, Feb. 1994, my husband left the state of California in Feb. 1995. He is now living in Texas, where he is from originally, I am still in California, where we lived together for the year of our marriage. I have not seen him since he left over three years ago, I have spoken to him on the telephone on about five occasions. He does not give me an address to contact him or a telephone number, he has called me in the past as I have a listed number. How do I proceed with a divorce when I don't know where he lives or how to reach him? He has gone on to have child with another woman approx. 1 1/2 years ago, by his own admission.

Ask his mother to have him call you.Try calling information for his home town.Contact the Attorney General. They locate parents who split.Hire a private investigator.Have your lawyer secure service by publication if they have that in California.
