divorce

i was married in 1993, seperated in 1994, i went to prison in 1995 to 1997, i was told in 1994 by my then spouse that she was fileing for divorce, i havent had any contact from her since 1994 but i also cant find any information about us being divorce. i got remarried to another woman in 2001, how or what can i do about finding out about being divorced from the woman in 1994?

You could research the district clerk records in the county where she was living at the time - or wherever she was when you were in prison.
