Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Got divorce on nov 24 2009 in my divorce it was said I had to pay for some of there credit cards that my wife had I never knew she had all these credit cards in the divorce it was stated that I should pay the balance on or before June 30 2010. My wife just went to small courts and is trying to sue me for the same thing it is to my knowledge that that court has no jurisdiction to enforce has to accur in divorce court I went to tell them that and they told me I have to shoe up in court anyways what us my next step do I need a lawyer.

I think you're saying that she has sued you for not paying the credit cards listed in the divorce decree? That's just plain ridiculous.
This is what I learned in law school -- anyone can sue you at any time for any reason.
That does not mean that they will win.
If you don't show up -- she wins automatically.
I would hire an attorney.
You need a certified copy of your divorce decree!!
Not many attorneys go to small claims court because there is no money there.
