Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Divorce: He is ordered to pay all costs associated with divorce, attorney fees, etc. I have been ordered not to use the joint credit crd or joint acct without his "consult". I am hiring a diff attorney and need to put the retainer on the joint cr cd. When I look at the definition of consult it doesnt mean he has to agree. Your opinion?

I don't know what that means. Is it a typo and intended to mean 'consent' ? The common definition of consult would mean that you talk to him, but you don't require his permission. Standing orders and injunctions generally allow for payment of attorney fees. You have your original attorney, and your new proposed attorney. Either or both of them should be able to review the order and advise you.
