Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

In the divorce papers my ex and his attorney drew up and I signed has a provision that I assume financial responsibility for a very expensive house. Neither of us thought the housing market would make it impossible to sell the house. He has remarried, bought a house and I am stuck with a house I cannot afford and stuck in the house he and I built . If I sell it however, he gets half the equity. This is not fair. Can this be successfully fought in court. He makes three times what I make. Be can afford this house

You cannot contest a divorce settlement (especially one that you signed) on the basis that is isn't fair. If it wasn't fair, you shouldn't have signed it.

Did you refinance the house? Is his name still on the mortgage?

I suggest that you contact a realtor and ask about some creative solutions to your problem.
