Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Does a person claiming to be a paralegal but not with any attorney's office have a legal and true means to file divorce papers in the state of Texas?? Or is it just someone on a fishing trip. I live in Missouri ,the ex in Texas

Only attorneys and individuals can file lawsuits. For a paralegal to provide legal advice and file divorce papers for someone would amount to the illegal practice of law.
