Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Divorce, Remarriage and the Will.

When my husband divorced his ex wife he had the divorce papers state that in case something happened to him she would get the home. Now that we are married does our marriage override that statement? He got the home in the divorce and the loan still carries her name. They have two children together and that's the only reason that he would make that provision. I need advice on what avenue to take to correct this situation if it's neccesary. Thanks.

The property division in the previous divorce takes precedence over your present marriage. You may have community property claims in the property depending upon a variety of circumstances.
