I am a retired service member who works overseas. I wish to file for divorce from my wife from my present location. Firstly, is it possible to do this completely from overseas? And secondly, is she guarenteed a piece of my military retirement?

It is possible to obtain the divorce from your location. Your military retirement is community property. You might have other community property that you could give her your 1/2 that might be acceptable to her.
