Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

divorce

I was served with my petition for divorce. It says I am being sued. Does this mean I will have to pay for his attorney or any of his expenses?

Re: divorce

It means that if you don't do anything, your husband will get a default divorce.

In a default divorce, he can ask the court to order you to pay his legal fees or anything else.

I strongly urge you to file a legal document called an ANSWER within the next 20 days.

An ANSWER lets the court know that you don't want the judge to go ahead without contacting you about the next court date.

I sell them for $25.

Contact me if you want one.
