Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Divorce
In the state of Texas they have a no fault divorce. I am already going thru a divorce. What if the reason for divorce is misrepresented when the papers were filed? Like trying to cover up adultery to keep themselves out of trouble? Is there anything I can do?

Re: Divorce
Just because adultery took place doesn't mean that the divorce must be pursued on the basis of fault. In fact, courts have broad discretion to grant a no-fault divorce, even if fault it proven.
Basically, it doesn't have to be a "cover up" - it may just be that proving fault wouldn't have any effect on the divorce.
