Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Does a divorce have a statute of limitations if one party refuses to sign?

My boyfriend says his wife cannot be found by the lawyer who is trying to serve her divorce papers. He wires her money through Western Union. Her phone is left off the hook. She runs a business from her home. Is there a point at which the judge can say enough is enough and just grant him the divorce? He lives here in Arizona now and she still lives in Austin.

I bet if he stops wiring her money, she will surface.

His lawyer will petition the court for notice by posting/publication.
