Can a divorce be stopped in Texas

Is there anyway to stop a divorce once one party has filed and is determined to

follow thru with it. I believe our marriage could be saved with the proper counseling and time. Can a judge order us to go to counseling and under what circumstances.

I have had a few clients ask a court to order marriage counseling,

but never had the court order it unless both agreed to it.

The court may order parenting classes and other types of

counseling (ex: what divorce does to children, etc.), but usually not

marriage counseling. Of course, sometimes if a divorce takes

some time the parties will reconcile.
