Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Divorce - Temporary
In the temporary orders the judge signed off on me paying child support, her vehicle and health insurance including a new 2007 chevy Tahoe note at $500.00 a month. I recently switched jobs ta maintain a 40hr work week and not a 30hr work week like I was recieving. However during the transition this has placed a strain on my finace's and will place me two to three months behind on paying the Tahoe note. I woul rather make sure I pay my child support over the Tahoe. I still have all the bills at our residence and trying to maintain a household so they do not reposes our house either. What would a judge do in this situation on temporary orders and not maintaining the Tahoe note?

Technically, you can be jailed for not paying child support, so it takes priority. You should continue to pay as much as you can on the car, to demonstrate your good faith. I recommend that you cut back on other expenses wherever possible.
