Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Divorce in texas
ok its a long story but Im married and been seperated for 2 years from my soon to be x husband. I got preg several months after leaving my x husband by my boyfriend at the time. I am filing my divorce now that my son is born. I have divorce paperwork that is needed for filing a divorce where a child was born during the marriage but not of the marriage. I am filling it out but i thought the judge said me , my x husband and my sons biological father had to sign the final divorce decree. but on the paperwork there is only a place for me and my x husband to sign but in the decree it states that my son is not my x husbands biological son and he is not to be held accountable. I need to know do i need to make a place for him to sign the paperwork or is it ok if just me and my x husband sign the final decree

Re: Divorce in texas
This is not a situation where a DIY divorce kit is appropriate. You need a good family law attorney.
Your very questions indicate your unfamiliarity with the law. Most of those kits don't even apply to Texas law. Many Courts won't sign a decree saying the husband is not the father unless there is also a Paternity Order saying who is.
Protect yourself and your child. Hire an attorney.
