Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

divorce in texas

i have been married for just over two years, and from june of 08 to may of 09 i lived in gastonia nc, then i moved back to texas, but my drivers licenes never was changed from texas, so do i have to wait the 6 months of living in texas before i can file for divorce

Yes. The fact you did not follow the law and have your Driver's License changed has no effect on the residency requirement.
