Divorce in Texas

I moved to Texas 9 months ago from Alabama but have not yet changed my driver's license over. Can I still file for a divorce in Texas? I have paycheck stubs and some bills showing my Texas address.

In order to file suit for divorce you need to have been a resident of Texas for 6 months and a resident of the county for 90 days. If you meet those residence requirements, you can file suit for divorce.
