Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Divorce - Unauthorized medical care for son

Per our divorce decree I am the deciding parent on all medical treatment for my son. My ex-wife has been taking my son to the doctor and now to a specialist without my permission or knowledge. I have not been given the chance to review and determine if what is being done is in the best interest of my son. She simply hands me a bill and expects payment. What recourse do I have if she continues on this course, constantly violating the divorce decree?

I am the deciding parent for all treatment and I worry that she may have residual Post Partum issues or perhaps Munchausen Syndrome because he spends far too much time in a doctors office.

If you are serious in your concerns (and these issues are very serious), then you need to go back to court for a motion to enforce and perhaps a clarification.
