Divorce
My wife is wanting me to sign a waver of service in our divorce case and is telling me this is normal procedure.

It's not unusual in uncontested divorces that don't involve children, but you need to be careful. Often, once the waiver is signed there is nothing preventing your spouse from going to Court and finalizing the decree without you ever seeing it. Even if this is an uncontested divorce, you may want to have an attorney review the waiver and the decree before you sign. I offer no-cost initial consultations.
