Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

i want to get a divorce,but i cant afford it to get it done with the prices i will have to pay. So i was wondering how much would it be to get a divorce done with out a laywer?

The filing fee is around $300.00. There's no law that says you have to have a lawyer to do a divorce; if you can do the petition and the decree by yourself, and if the other party signs a waiver, you can do it for $300.
