Divorce/child custody
Can i legally move to another state after filing for divorce, taking my 3 yr old son if my husband has in the past threatened to kidnap my child and run to his country of belize. He is an alcoholic.

If you have a divorce attorney, ask him or her this question. If you don't have an attorney, get one! This is not the kind of case you should be trying to do yourself. If you mess things up too badly, there is a possibility your son could end up living with his father.
