If you are divorced and the ex-wife keeps your last name, is there a fee that has to be paid upon remarriage to another individual?

No fee for the name change, just the new marriage license.

I am an Austin Uncontested Divorce Lawyer and often change the wife's name as part of the divorce.

But, just as a person can change their name when they are first married, you can do so upon getting re-married.

If you need further assistance with this matter you should contact a local lawyer.

Good Luck!
