Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have been divorced for 3years and have a court order for my ex husband to pay child support that he has been refusing to pay. I now live in Texas and he is in Georgia. I have went to the child support office with no help at all. It's been about a year since I have filed still no help. First off, Is it possible to obtain a Texas lawyer that handles out of state non custodial parents and if so how do I go about doing that. Will this be something difficult to do?!

Child support enforcement takes place in the state where the obligor lives UNLESS you can establish some legal basis for personal jurisdiction in Texas. The Texas AG will refer the case to GA. You could probably contact the GA attorney general's office directly and ask them what it takes to enforce your TX order on a GA resident.
