Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have been divorced for two years and we have a five-year-old son. I our divorce agreement I have him 49% and she 51%. Works out I have him one week and she the next. My son was in daycare and I our agreement unfortunately verbal was that I would pay for half of daycare and his insurance. Now he is in school and I think I should not have to pay her to raise my son on her time any more then she should. I agree to pay for insurance, but not the extra amount for what was going to daycare. What can I do?

Second, in our divorce agreement states I get 30% of our land that we owned together. She has not sold or tried to sell now for two years. What can I do?

You need to sit down with an attorney in person ad talk about the changes you want to make.

I'm not sure what county you are in. An experienced family law attorney in your county should be able to guide you. As kids grow up, situations change.

I urge you to consider going to mediation and trying to resolve your differences through mediation. Do some research on the internet. Of course, with mediation you would both have to agree.

Good luck.
