Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have been divorced for 2 years. During the past 2 years neither I nor my spouse have lived in the home. We have rented it to help make the mortgage. We have in the decree that we will sale the home and split any profits, but at this point I just want out. We have had no offers and our real estate agent has advised us to lower our price. I desperately want out of the mortgage. I cannot move on financially until we sale the house. What are my options? Can I move back in the home? Can I take my spouse back to court?

Thanks for any help!

See what your ex will agree to. That's your only salvation.

It's too late to "modify" your divorce decree.

Take your ex out to dinner (you buy) - I suggest Carrabba's Italian Grill. Order a nice bottle of wine. When the time seems right, ask him (her) to help you out.

The bank won't let you out of the mortgage unless ex-spouse is willing (and able) to refinance.
