Dna proves not the father after 13yrs!!!!!!!!

Can you please tell me if we could get child support back from a child that is now 13 yrs old or a portion after we tried contacting the mother informing her of the dna results she would not talk to us or call back after numerous messages tried to go to AG'S office with dna results they said she could not stop it if she wanted to because the mother is in such arrears with welfare we have been paying child support for at least 12yrs could she be that behind and since its not his child why are we paying and its now coming out of his unemployment checks can you please help me!

Gnerally speaking, if a court of law has made a determination that you are the father of a child, the DNA test results are irrelevant.

If you have found to be the father of a child, then you are the father of the child.

Harris County courts in the past have not "bastarized" a child.

If there is a "new" father in the wings, then you have a chance getting your name off the birth certificate and all future liability.

I've heard rumors that some smaller towns will "bastarize" a child, but I have no personal knowledge of this being true or not.
