Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Domicile Restriction, Custody Battle
Will a court of law require my family to move back to Texas for a domicile restriction when our ex-attorney advised us to leave the state for my wife's health?

If it wasn't in the original decree, then it's not highly likely. But, noone can ever plan on the outcome of the proceedings in a court of law. It's highly dependent upon personalities.

Although I agree with Mr. Grissom, I have also seen Collin County judges enforce restrictions as to the child. It is not unusual for the judge to require the child's residence remain in the county, provided the nonprimary parent has remained in the county.
