Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I did drugs before i knew i was pregnant, i told my doctor to make sure everything was going to be okay and i was drug tested throughout the entire pregnany and never came up dirty. Now i am dealing with CPS (Child Protective Services) do they have any right to ask me and my childs father for hair folacles and u/a's and what can they do? Also i told them i haven't done anything for them to harrass me like this and told them to come back with a court order, but i wasn't rude about it. Any advice would be much appreaciated, thank you!

Either you cooperated with CPS or you did not. Accusing them of harassment and demanding a court order is not cooperating. Most cases with CPS can be resolved without going to court. Frequently, the best solution is to agree to a safety plan and follow it. Sometimes you need to assert your rights in court.
You need an attorney to advise you on this. There are a lot of facts that you have not presented and no one can properly advise you without knowing all of the facts. Sometimes it is best to cooperate and sometimes it is harmful. CPS has a lot of power and if they are concerned about your child, they can assert that power which will be costly for you. The involvement of an attorney at an early stage could save you quite a bit of hassle and quite a bit of money.
