Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

DWI on one parent

I just found out that my son's mother was charged with a DWI and a fine of $1040.00. She is delinquent in payments and soon to get her licensed suspended. Is a suspended license and DWI grounds for being an unfit mother? Can I and my wife be awarded sole custody on these grounds or should we wait?

If the child was with her in the car, it might be worth a try. Not likely to get sole custody. You might possession. She might be able to get an occupational to drive @ limited times.l
