Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Effect of incarceration on custody

My ex and I are appointed joint managing conservators of our child, and he has conservator rights for primary residence. He has been incarcerated, and is now serving a seven year sentence. What do I have to do to gain primary residence conservatorship or sole custody?
