Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Hello. I am eighteen years old, male, and I have suffered from physical abuse and emotional abuse all my life. My father used to beat me 1-3 times a week, which steadily declined up until the end of tenth grade. Along with the physical, there was also psychological. Things such as telling his kids that they can't do anything or disowning and kicking us out of the house for something small like spilling water, more. I currently live with my parents and brothers. My brothers never suffered much emotional violence from the parents - I've always been the mainly targeted one. I am back here again after leaving for a year because I thought my parents had changed... and while it was alright at first, it soon became violent once again and through some of the things they said, I'm currently in the deepest depression I have ever experienced. I have no options, and even when I tell the parents I am suicidal, they laugh and will not get me medical help. CPS can't help. Is there anything I can do?

You are an adult, and you can live anywhere you want to. Leave your parents' house, and go out on your own. Consider joining the military (air force, navy, army).
