Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

ex doesn't have electricity

My ex-husband hasn't had electricity but has had our daughter (with medical issues/needs) overnight for visitations. I have asked him not to keep her overnight until his electricity has been restored. What are my (and our daughter's) legal rights regarding adequate housing and visitation issues? Can you please guide me in the right direction?

Re: ex doesn't have electricity

I assume there is a court order granting him visitation. I doubt there is any language that requires him to have electricity. You would have to go back to court to modify the custody and visitation to require him to have electricity for visitation.
